Frequently Asked Questions
How
long does a session last?
A typical session lasts about two hours (four hours for pet sessions).
The length of the session depends on many factors including the number
of subjects as well as the time to get acquainted with your child(ren)
and/or pet(s).
Where
do you photograph the sessions?
All of our portrait sessions are done on location - your home, office,
park, just about anywhere you choose. We feel the best portraits are
those created at a place that is meaningful to you, to truly capture
your personality and spirit.
Do
you photograph using color film?
We specialize in fine art black & white portraiture. Black
& white portraits evoke an emotional response and visual quality
not matched by conventional color film; it captures passion, personality
and emotion.
How
many pictures do you take?
For a typical session, we photograph at least two rolls of 35 mm film.
We guarantee at least 15 images to preview, though generally you'll
preview between 20 to 25 images. The number of film rolls used and
previews received depend on the type of session, number of subjects
and film choice. Extra rolls of film require an additional fee.
When photographing
on location, are there limitations on travel?
We do not have any limitations on travel. In fact, we'd love to photograph
your session at a place that's meaningful to you. Travel outside the
greater Seattle metro area requires an additional travel charge.

to expect during the session. If you live outside the Seattle area,
the pre-session consultation may be done via email or phone conversation.
